Inert Value

Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 12 October 2026

This page is the long version of the box you saw under the heading on the homepage. It explains, without hedging, where the money for this site comes from, what we are paid for, where the links are, and what decides what the course says.

SEC 1

What we are paid, and for what

PADOLO s.r.o. takes part in an affiliate programme for World of Tanks. When a reader follows one of our links to that title and then creates and activates an account, the affiliate network that operates the link pays us a commission. The commission is for the account creation and activation; that is the whole of the arrangement as the programme describes it.

Nothing on the other side of the link costs you more because you arrived through us. The commission is paid by the programme out of its own marketing budget, not added to anything you do or pay. If you would rather not pass through our link at all, typing the publisher's address into your browser directly is a perfectly reasonable thing to do, and the course works exactly the same way if you do.

This is the only revenue the site has. There is no display advertising, no sponsored section, no paid placement, no payment for a mention, and nothing is sold here.

Where the links appear

Table A.1 — every affiliate link on this site

HomepageIn the section explaining where World of Tanks appears in the course and why.
Step 1In the closing section, where the title is named as an example of the category.
Step 4In the note after the account procedure, the step whose subject is creating and activating an account.

There are no others. No link is hidden in body text, in a button labelled something else, in an image or in a redirect of ours: every affiliate link on this site carries the destination address in the link itself, so your browser shows you where it goes before you follow it, and each one sits beside a line saying it is paid.

SEC 3

What the commission does not decide

The commission does not decide what the course says. It does not decide which checklist items exist, what Step 3 says about reading an account agreement, what Step 5 says about setting a monthly limit, or whether the course tells you that you can finish it without spending anything — which it does, because you can.

It does not decide which products are mentioned in the sense of excluding others: the course deliberately avoids recommending, ranking or comparing titles at all, because that is exactly the territory where a commercially funded publication should not be trusted. Where a title is named, it is named as an example of a category, not as a choice we are urging on you.

It also does not decide what we claim about the title. Everything stated on this site about World of Tanks comes from the affiliate programme's own description of the arrangement: an account is created, the account is activated, and that is what the commission is paid for. We do not describe its contents, its requirements or its purchases, because we have no independent basis for doing so, and the course directs you to the publisher and to the Classification Board instead.

SEC 4

What does decide the content

Three things. First, the order in which questions actually arise for a beginner, which is what produced five steps rather than a pile of articles. Second, the published guidance of the Australian bodies the course links to — the Classification Board, the ACCC, the eSafety Commissioner, Scamwatch, the ACSC and the OAIC — which is what the factual claims rest on. Third, the rule that every checklist item must be completable without spending money, which removed several items that would otherwise have been there.

The method behind all of this, including the review schedule, is set out on the About page, which also states the commercial relationship in the same terms as this page.

SEC 5

Why we tell you this three times

A disclosure that appears once, in small type, at the bottom of a page nobody opens, is a technicality rather than a disclosure. So this site says it in a box under the heading on the homepage, beside every single affiliate link, and at full length here. Misleading or deceptive conduct in trade is prohibited under the Australian Consumer Law and the obligation falls on us as the publisher — but the better reason is that a course about reading the fine print would be a poor thing if its own funding were buried in it.

Trademarks

All brand names on Inert Value, World of Tanks among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Inert Value, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

To put the same thing in plainer words: this is not an official site, not an authorised site, not a partner site and not a reseller. No publisher has reviewed, approved or sponsored this course, and we do not use any publisher's logo, wordmark or screenshots.
